ULIS alerts have contributed to the investigations led by FIFA Integrity into this case, which culminated in the sanctions taken by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee. 

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee determined the club breached article 20 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code by engaging in activities linked to the manipulation of matches and competitions. 

Key outcomes of the decision: 

  • The club is expelled from the 2025–26 Dominican Football League (LDF).
  • Its first team will be relegated to the LDF Expansión as of next season.
  • The Dominican Republic Football Association has been instructed to liaise with FIFA and implement an education program aimed at preventing and combating manipulation in football. 

As a member of the FIFA Integrity Task Force, ULIS works closely with the international football governing body, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. This collaboration includes sharing alerts, information, intelligence, and risk assessments to protect the integrity of competitions.
