Totalizator Sportowy joins ULIS

The United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports (ULIS) today announced that Totalizator Sportowy, Poland's state-owned national lottery operator, has become a full individual member of the organization. The membership marks the consolidation of ULIS's European presence and reinforces its mission to protect the integrity of sport through the collective commitment of leading lottery operators worldwide.

Founded in 1955, Totalizator Sportowy is one of Central Europe's most established and trusted lottery institutions. The operator offers a broad portfolio of lottery games, instant lotteries, online gaming, and Poland's only legal internet casino, backed by a nationwide retail network spanning thousands of points of sale, including slot machine arcades. Beyond its commercial operations, Totalizator Sportowy has long distinguished itself as a committed contributor to public good, consistently supporting sports, culture, and social initiatives across Poland while upholding the highest standards of responsible gaming.

ULIS highlighted that Totalizator Sportowy's membership strengthens the organization’s capacity to monitor betting and lottery activity across the globe and inside the European market.

“By welcoming Totalizator Sportowy, we extend our coordinated monitoring and preventing capabilities” said ULIS President Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, “Totalizator Sportowy has a longstanding commitment to responsible operations and ethical practices that aligns perfectly with our values, and their expertise will be a genuine asset to our collective efforts in safeguarding sports integrity.”

As part of its membership, Totalizator Sportowy will be represented in day-to-day cooperation with ULIS through its daughter company - Traf Zakłady Wzajemne -, Poland’s betting operator offering a wide range of bets on both domestic and international horse races.

Totalizator Sportowy's CEO Beata Stelmach expressed equal enthusiasm for the new affiliation, underscoring the alignment between the operator's values and ULIS's integrity mandate.

"Joining ULIS is a natural step for Totalizator Sportowy," said Beata Stelmach of Totalizator Sportowy. "As a state-owned operator we believe that protecting the integrity of sport is not only a regulatory responsibility but a moral one. Through ULIS, we gain a powerful platform for intelligence sharing, coordinated action with global partners, and access to education programs that make a real difference. Together, we can address challenges that no single organization can tackle alone."

The full individual membership grants Totalizator Sportowy voting rights and active participation in ULIS governance, ensuring the Polish operator's voice is heard at the highest levels of international sport integrity policy.

ULIS said it continues to welcome lottery operators, regulatory authorities, and sport organizations committed to transparency, fairness, and the protection of sport from manipulation threats.
