The United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports (ULIS), an international organization committed to promoting fairness and integrity in sports globally, is delighted to announce that the Estonian Center for Integrity in Sports (ESTCIS) has joined its network as an associate member. This collaboration will see both organizations partnering to ensure sports integrity and prevent competition manipulation in Estonia.
ESTCIS is an independent, national, non-profit entity established by the Estonian Olympic Committee in June 2019. Following an agreement signed with the Estonian Ministry of Culture in 2020, ESTCIS is in charge of sport competition manipulation matters, functioning as a national platform in the country. In addition, ESTCIS is responsible for promoting healthy, ethical and fair sports contributing to prevention of doping use, safeguarding in sports and other issues that threaten the integrity in sports.
"Becoming a ULIS Associate Member will empower us to tackle challenges related to sports integrity more effectively. We look forward to working closely with ULIS and their global network to ensure a fair competitive sporting landscape in Estonia," said Henn Vallimäe, ESTCIS board member.
The partnership with ESTCIS underscores ULIS's commitment to global sport integrity. As the organization continues to grow its global footprint, it seeks to foster collaborations with sports bodies worldwide to promote ethical practices and prevent corruption in sports.
"We are thrilled to welcome ESTCIS as a new ULIS associate member," commented ULIS President Gilles Maillet. "This collaboration is part of our continuous efforts to ensure sports integrity and fair competitions worldwide.”
